Valkyrie Feather is a system that unlocks when a character reaches Base Lv.45. It is designed to enhance the character's overall strength in both offense and defense. Initially, when the system is unlocked, there are only a few statues and sockets available for inserting feathers. However, as the character's Base Level increases, more statues and sockets are unlocked.

1. Feather Type

The backgrounds of Valkyrie Feathers are displayed as blue, purple, and gold, which indicate the rarity of feathers. Additionally, Valkyrie Feathers can be further categorized into three types.

ATK feathers are red feathers that enhance the attack power of a character. They can only be inserted into ATK statues. ATK Valkyrie Feathers include the following ones:

2. Statue Types

ATK Statues can only be inserted with ATK feathers and MIX feathers, enhancing the overall offensive capabilities of a character.

DEF Statues can only be inserted with DEF feathers and MIX feathers, enhancing the overall defensive capabilities of a character.

The sockets of the statues are unlocked along with a character's progression. With the increase of a character's Base Level, additional sockets will be unlocked, allowing more feathers to be inserted.

3. Set Bonuses

To maximize the benefits of feathers, it is important to choose and insert feathers that allow us to activate set bonuses. Each statue can only have one set bonus activated at a time. Therefore, we need to carefully select feathers from each rarity to match the requirements.

Feather sets provide the following bonuses.

  • Nightingale's Cry [1 blue, 1 purple]:

*PVE Stats includes PVE DMG Mitigation and PVE DMG Bonus.

If we are facing regular monsters or bosses, we have the option to choose multiple sets to benefit from PVE stats. However, when it comes to PvP battles, the most optimal set to use is the Raven's Hour [1 purple 4 gold], because it provides increased PVP stats.

4. Feather Promotion

When upgrading feathers, you should avoid upgrading any particular feather to a high level, as it would be a waste of resources. Each statue will receive additional attributes when its tier is increased. To increase the tier of a statue, all the feathers currently equipped in the statue need to be upgraded. For example, if we currently have 3 Tier 1 feathers inserted, it is advisable to evenly upgrade all 3 feathers to Tier 2. This will result in the overall statue level being upgraded, providing the character with additional stats.

5. Feather Dismantling

To dismantle feathers, we can go [Backpack] > [Statue] > select a feather > [Dismantle]. It is advised to dismantle feathers that do not match our character's needs. For example, if you are playing as a mage, you can dismantle STR feathers, which are useless to you. Once there are feathers dismantled, we will receive Statue Down Feathers, which can be used to redeem other types of feathers in the Statue Feather Shop.

6. How to obtain Feathers

Feathers of each rarity can be obtained from various sources:

  1. Blue Feathers: obtainable from Hellheim dungeons and redeemable from the Statue Feather Shop.

  2. Purple Feathers: obtainable from Hellheim dungeons, redeemable from the Statue Feather Shop, Guild Vending, or Guild Expedition activities.

  3. Gold Feathers: There are multiple ways to obtain feathers of this rarity. They can be obtained from Hellheim dungeons, redeemed from the Statue Feather Shop, Guild Vending, Guild Expedition activities, or purchased using Zeny and Nyan Berries in the RO Shop.

By consuming identical feathers and Eden coins, feathers can be upgraded to have increased stats. The higher the tier, the more the required materials. Additionally, the promotion cost goes up with the rarity of the feather that is being upgraded. Gold ones will be more costly than blue ones.
