Welcome to Aldebaran, the picturesque city known as the gateway to the New World. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you navigate this charming location in the world of Ragnarok Origin Online.
Location and Access:
Aldebaran is situated between Mt. Mjolnir and the desolate plains of Juno.
It serves as a crucial transportation hub for travelers heading north into the Schwarzwald Republic or south into the Kingdom of Rune-Midgard.
Access to Aldebaran can be achieved on foot, but many adventurers prefer airship travel from Izlude for a faster and safer journey.
The headquarters of the Kafra Corporation are also located in this city, making it a significant point of interest.
Aldebaran is often referred to as the "City of Canal" due to the numerous water canals that flow throughout the city.
Windmills are a prominent feature of the city's skyline, powered by the gentle mountain breeze from Mt. Mjolnir.
The city is renowned for its scenic beauty, combining plant life, clean air, and formal landscaping.
Aldebaran is home to the Alchemist Guild, attracting researchers from around the world interested in the field of alchemy.
Aldebaran is constructed around its waterways, which serve various purposes, including power generation, water supply, and urban aesthetics.
The city's growth and development have been closely tied to the presence of the Kafra Corporation, which relocated its headquarters here a thousand years ago.
The strategic location of Aldebaran on the borders of the Schwarzwald Republic, Glast Heim, and Rune-Midgard has made it an oasis for travelers and a symbol of progress amidst challenging terrain.
Routes:
Aldebaran offers Kafra Warp services to Geffen, Juno, Izlude, and Mt. Mjolnir Dead Pit.
Santa Claus Warp provides access to Lutie.
You can also participate in the Aldebaran Turbo Track minigame.
The Aldebaran Turbo Track is a thrilling minigame accessible from Lutie, located west of Aldebaran.
The goal is to navigate obstacles and reach the finish line as quickly as possible.
Classes that can mount a Peco Peco must dismount before entering the arena.
The first player to reach the finish line wins, and the race ends automatically.
Races have a time limit of 15 minutes; if no one finishes in time, the race ends without a winner.
There is a participation fee of 1,000 zeny.
Certain items and skills are prohibited during the race.
The Turbo Track offers three modes: Normal, Expert (allows PvP), and Solo.
The Turbo Track features various courses, each with its own unique challenges:
Log Bridge
Cube Hills
Cursed Desert
Flasher Maze
Single Snail
Snake Dice
Small Cave (Monsters)
Invisible Maze
Players must overcome these obstacles to emerge victorious.
Moonlit Arena is the latest 5v5 PvP event available on weekends.
Requirements: You must be at least level 70 to participate.
In this mode, you can choose from different pre-selected builds, each with its own equipment set and skills.
You'll be grouped with and matched against a similar number of opponents.
Available class builds include Spiral Pierce Lord Knight, Full Support High Priest, Gravity Field High Wizard, Fire Bolt Professor, Red Cut Assassin Cross, Soul Breaker Assassin Cross, Cart Termination Mastersmith, Acid Bomb Biochemist, Falcon Sniper, and Full Support Bard.
Matchmaking: Players will be matched using the cross-server queuing. Inactive players will be restricted from matchmaking for 30 seconds.
Ban and Class Selection: Each team can ban a specific class from being selected. If no class is banned, all classes are available. After banning, players select their desired class, and they are locked into their choice upon confirmation.
Class Limits: Each team will have a maximum number of players for each class (e.g., only one High Priest per match).
Battle: Matches have a four-minute countdown. The first team to achieve 15 kills wins. If no team reaches 15 kills, the team with the higher kill count when the timer ends wins. If kills are tied, both sides enter overtime, and the first team to score a kill wins.
Rewards: Trophies, Moonlit Coins, and MVP bonuses are distributed based on match results.
Trophies: Your trophy count determines your rewards. You earn trophies for winning, losing, and being the MVP.
Moonlit Coins: You earn Moonlit Coins per match, which can be used to purchase items in the Moonlit Shop.
Weekly Cap: You can acquire a maximum of 550 Moonlit Coins weekly.
Rankings: Players are ranked based on their trophy numbers, with rewards given at the end of the season via in-game mail.
Enjoy the new region, the exciting battles in Moonlit Arena, and the rewards that come with it! Good luck!
