S2 OVERVIEW

The second season of Nightmare Temple beckons the bravest adventurers of Midgard to test their strengths. Challenge the five Bosses at four difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, Nightmare, and Hell, each with increasing rewards. Adventurers can unlock this dungeon instance when their base level reaches Lv.90, and each dungeon comes with varied affixes and debuffs, offering diverse challenges.

THE FIVE FORMIDABLE BOSSES

In this guide, let's dive deep into how to defeat the five formidable bosses in Hell mode.

Nightmare Mogul

Attributes: Poison, Small, Plant

The Nightmare Mogul, a massive mutated Spore, who wields gravity manipulation.One of its notable skills is the Gravity Blast which can stun adventurers. A number of brave adventurers have reported that the best way to defeat this boss is by luring and camping at the top right (or left) corner of the map. This allows adventurers to deflect the Mogul’s Gravity Blast, as well as minimize the damage done by its poisonous and explosive spores.

Kraken

Attributes: Water, Large, Fish

The Kraken is a giant creature that lurks in the depths of the ocean. This boss has a series of versatile attacks like AoE damage, immobilization, and poison affliction.One particular skill that stands out is Full Screen Water, where the boss gains an invisible shield that pulls adventurers towards it and then releases poisonous AoE damage. Adventurers must immediately eradicate the bubbles scattered around the map to remove the shield.Deploying Earth Lord is also beneficial in this dungeon, as it can help drag the Kraken away from the Poison Pool, which gives a defensive boost to the Boss while draining the HP of your allies.

Drake

Attributes: Undead, Medium, Undead

Drake, the infamous pirate king, is causing mayhem again. In this dungeon instance, adventurers must defeat Drake before his daughter, Barbara, sustains fatal damage.Your team must assign one or two adventurers who will take Barbara to a safe place while everybody else fights Drake. The assigned ally must be strong enough to protect her against incoming mobs. If Barbara dies, Drake enters the state of Berserk and deals high damage to your team.

Ancient Strouf

Attributes: Water, Large, Fish

Fighting against the Ancient Strouf requires wit and skills, as adventurers must avoid a series of AoE damage while fulfilling the mechanics of this dungeon.Four crystals will appear one by one in this dungeon, and adventurers must ensure that these crystals reach their zenith. Doing so will grant the team physical and magical buffs and inflict corresponding negative effects on Strouf. However, if Strouf fully drains the crystal’s power, it gains strength while your abilities weaken.In order to charge up these crystals, adventurers must kill the spawned mobs, pick up the runes, and carry them to their corresponding crystal.

Queen Medusa

Attributes: Water, Large, Demon

Don’t look! Queen Medusa can turn anyone who falls into her gaze into stone.There are two important things that adventurers must do in order to defeat the Queen: destroy the stone pillar that would spawn across the map and avoid the rotating lasers. Both skills can cause high damage, but, more importantly, adventurers have a chance to be petrified.While many adventurers are able to resist the stone curse inflicted by the Queen, some can also take refuge by the staircase to avoid the lasers and stone curse.

SEASONAL STATS

In order to succeed in Hell mode, adventurers must ensure that their Penetration and Resilience in the Seasonal Stats are at least 160/160. The red orbs known as the Spark of War can be earned in Normal, Hard, and Nightmare modes of Season 2.

CARD SUGGESTIONS

Based on boss attributes, the DPS of your team can consider wearing the following cards:

  • Flora Card – DMG vs Fish +20%

  • Scorpion Card – DMG vs Plant +20%

  • Strouf Card – DMG vs Demon +20%

  • Drainliar Card – DMG vs Water Enemies +20%

  • Skeleton Worker Card - DMG vs Medium Enemies +18%, PATK/MATK +20

  • Minorous Card – DMG vs Large Enemies +18%, PATK/MATK +20

Hell invalidates Stat Armor, but adventurers can wear the following cards:

  • Marc Card – Water Resistance +10%, Max HP +3%, Immune to Freeze effect

  • Marse Card – Water Resistance +15%

  • Orc Zombie Card - Undead Resistance +15%

  • Myst Card - Poison Resistance +15%
