Rogue (lv70+) #2

Written by PlayPost Team from ROO Discord Tavern

Rouge and Stalker are professions from the Thief class, which are considered one of the most distinctive and diverse in terms of gameplay. This is because we can tailor our playstyle according to our preferences, such as swapping between using a dagger and a bow. Moreover, they possess skills that can copy those of other professions. In addition, they also have disruptive skills for PVP, such as disarming enemies' equipment. Therefore, it's a profession for those who want to try something new, as it can be constantly modified and adjusted over time.

The primary stats for the Rogue/Stalker

Rogue/Stalker are usually focused on AGI and STR. However, this can depend on the specific build being used, as this class offers quite a variety of playstyles. For example, some builds might focus on LUK or DEX, such as the weapon stripping build.

Playstyle of Rouge / Stalker

PVP modes:

There are various builds to play in PvP, but a recommended one would be the "Support" build. This build focuses on disrupting enemies, such as disarming your opponent and blinding them. The main skills used are various disarmament skills and skills that allow you to deal more damage to enemies inflicted with status effects, such as Rampage. This build mainly emphasizes the DEX and LUK.

For the weapon of this build, the focus would be on the Obsidian Bowblade, which helps deal damage to enemies inflicted with status effects. For defense, the recommended set is Tyr's set, which helps to withstand damage and boosts attack power.

Another recommended build is the Back Stab build. It differs from the support build in which we focus on STR and LUK for maximum One Hit Kill damage. We focus on skills that boost our own damage and survivability, such as Stealthy for stealth buffing / Rampage, etc. The indispensable skill is Back Stab, which can deal up to 500% increased damage if you attack an enemy from their back. Another skill is Copy, used to copy various buff skills to boost damage.

PVE modes:

In the PvE section, there's a wide variety of builds, especially for leveling up. The common tactic is to copy the skills that defeat each type of monster, and then use them again for leveling up. For example, if you're farming a group of monsters, you might copy the Meteor skill to use. This allows us to level up almost everywhere, but we may need to adjust our build according to the monsters we're farming.

An interesting strategy for boss hunting would be Back Stab, which can deal quite high damage because we can easily approach the boss from behind if someone distracts it. We can increase our damage by 500% if we attack the boss from behind, and we might even land critical hits.

All of these are preliminary suggestions for different playstyles for Rogue/Stalker, as noted that these jobs have many gameplay possibilities. Therefore, if anyone has any fantastic ideas, feel free to share them with us.

Regarding Copy:

Copy can be considered as one of the selling points of the Stalker, because this skill allows us to copy the skills of a boss to use. It can only be used once you become a Stalker, and offers a variety of skills for us to choose from, depending on which monster or boss skills we copy. The principle of how the skill works is as follows:

  1. Skill Level With lv.1 Copy, we can copy the skills of ordinary monsters. With lv.2 Copy, we can copy the skills of MINI, and with lv.3 Copy, we can copy the skills of MVP.

  1. Using Skills We can use skills by targeting a monster and pressing the Coy skill. We can only store one skill at a time. Once the copying process is completed, the skill will appear on the skill page and can be easily slotted.

  1. Examples of skills worth copying for:

Redcut Lv.5: Champ / Horn / Harpy / Swift Mantis

Sonic Blow Lv.5: Baphomet Jr. / Mayyr / Injustice

Holy Cross Lv.10: Anubis / Ghostring

Fire Bolt Lv.10: Golden Thief Bug / Choco / Highest General / Marduk

Lightning Bolt Lv.5: Hornet / Creamy / Hunter Fly

*Monster names are just examples
