Smeldon Cogwheel Introduction

Smeldon Cogwheels represent an additional tier of Verus Cores, offering an extra layer of power to your character.

These cogwheels range from providing enhanced versions of skills you might already know from Archdams, Vespers, and Dimiks Cogwheels, to introducing unique new skills that boost your potential even further. These novel skills are job-specific and can only be found on Smeldon Cogwheels.

A Smeldon Cogwheel's default weight is 7, but with a bit of luck, you can find them in lower weights, similar to other cogwheel tiers. However, their weight can be reduced by up to 2, meaning the lightest Smeldon Cogwheel can have a weight of 5!

Obtaining Smeldon Cogwheel

The primary method of acquiring a Smeldon Cogwheel involves collecting Smeldon Cogwheel Fragments.

These fragments can be obtained through various in-game events or activities, as well as the RO Shop.

Once you've gathered at least 5 of these fragments, you can combine them to receive a random Smeldon Cogwheel for your current job. Alternatively, you can obtain a Smeldon Cogwheel randomly through the Cogwheel Gacha available in the RO Shop.

Maintaining Smeldon Cogwheel

Like all other cogwheel tiers, each starts with a lifespan of 30 days before being slotted into your Verus Core and requires maintenance to remain usable. Smeldon Cogwheels use Advanced Lubricant to prolong their lifespan. Each application of the lubricant extends the cogwheel's lifespan by 25 days.

You can acquire the Advanced Lubricant through the Market and the Store.

Resetting Smeldon Cogwheel

Similar to other cogwheel tiers, you may occasionally receive Smeldon Cogwheels with skills that are not desirable or necessary for you. You can reset them using Titanium IV.

You can also view the list of skills your Smeldon Cogwheel can potentially acquire by pressing the Skill Preview button. The list of available skills is displayed based on your current job.

Now that you're familiar with the power of Smeldon Cogwheels, it's time to start collecting them and further enhance your character!
