Are you ready to pilot your own mechanical masterpiece through the treacherous Midgard continent?
From the Madogear to the Magnetic Field, we'll check all the skills and possible builds for your Mechanic class.
In this guide, let's take a deep dive into the intriguing lore and mechanics of the Mechanic class. It will contain several parts: the Lore, Skills, Builds and Equipment.
The Mechanic
The Mechanic is the advanced job of Mastersmiths. They have developed their skills beyond forging and basic combat by concentrating on creating machines, Moto Cart, and powered suits. Mechanics are given three choices of paths to follow: Mado Mechanic, Motocart Mechanic, and FAW Tech Mechanic.Mado Mechanics utilize a system called a Madogear, enabling them to use a new set of skills, party support skills, and massive damage AoE attacks that make the Mechanic a very formidable foe. They also have the ability to create Fixed Autonomous Weapons (FAWs) which are capable of physical gunfire or ranged AoE attacks. Or they can stick with the melee counterpart of smashing their enemies with the empowered Motocart.
Skill Set
The skill allocation for Merchant, Blacksmith, and Mastersmith will be the same across the 3 basic Mechanic builds, which prioritize all the class buffs.
For the Mechanic class, you can go for these recommended skills for your build.
Mado Mechanic: Madogear License, Madogear Delta, Overclock, Impact Landing, Knuckle Boost, Vulcan Arm, Flame Launcher, Magnetic Field, and Front Slide.
Motocart Mechanic: Cart Spurt, Thermal Kinetics, Overclock, Magnetic Field, Overheat, Cart Smash, Full Throttle, Neutral Barrier, Front Slide, and Impact Landing.
FAW Tech Mechanic: Thermal Kinetics, Madogear License, Neutral Barrier, FAW Turret, FAW Upgrade Kit, Focus Fire, Magnetic Field, FAW Silver Sniper, Front Slide, and Impact Landing.
Stats
For Stats allocation, we need Strength (STR) to increase our base Attack and Physical Damage.
Next, we can allocate points to either Agility (AGI) to increase our attack speed, Luck (LUK) to increase our Crit Rate, or Vitality (VIT) to increase our Max HP and Defense.
Depending on the build you would like to pursue, you can go for STR >VIT > LUK or STR > LUK > AGI.
Builds
For the builds, we have the Mado Mechanic, the Motocart Mechanic, and the FAW Tech Mechanic.
Mado Mechanic uses the Madogear suit, which deals continuous massive damage to your target.
Motocart Mechanic is the alternate version of Cart Revolution where you will smash your target with the Motocart and create a Lava area that deals AoE damage.
FAW Tech Mechanic creates FAW turrets that automatically attack enemies and can summon the Silver Sniper to deal continuous range and AoE damage to all targets.
Accessories
You can use accessories that can increase our STR, PDMG, PATK, AGI, and CRI stats. Accessories like Nile Rose, Dark Knight Set, Guindal Set, Sigtulifa Set, Pendant of Chaos, and Bradium.
Outfit
You can use accessories that can increase our STR, PDMG, PATK, CRI, and CRI DMG stats.
Cards
You can use Cards that add STR, ATK, and CRIT stats for weapons and accessories, or increase our Max HP, Defense, or Damage Reduction.
Leveling Recommendation
It is recommended to target monsters that have the cards that you need. Most recommended are cards that add more DMG to the target's size, race, and element and cards that increase our CRI chance. And spots where monsters respawn in groups.
Enchantment
For weapons and accessories, focus on getting either Sharp Enchants to increase our CRI chances and damage, or Fighting Spirit Enchant. For armor, focus on getting Sharp Battle for Grinding.
Medals
You can upgrade your medals with this priority: Medal of Glory > Heroism > Charm > TempestFor Medal of Glory: Storm > Fire > Rock > Frost
Pets
For S-Tier Pets:
Since most of the Mechanic's skills deal AoE damage, Earth Lord will be the best pet you can use.
You can also use Dunell and Antasha Type-β to add additional AoE damage, or use Huanhuan to increase your survival chances.
For A-Tier pets:
First on the list will be Sohee. This pet grants a buff that increases ASPD, MSPD, and Lifesteal.
Next is Divination Cat, which grants a battle blessing buff. This gives random effect from ASPD, PATk/MATK increase, CRI increase, and CRI DMG increase.
And lastly, Baphomet Jr, which has a low priority since it only heals us if the pet deals CRIT damage. You may want to focus on increasing the pet's LUK and CRIT equipment.

Mount
Enabling mounts with the max Courage, Loyalty, and Charisma Stats, which can increase the percentage of ATK, Max HP, and ATK.
